Got into a very reflective mood during the course of Kaleidoscope'10 today (that, and also because my IS proposal's been rejected ..) :/

Somehow, I just can't think of any other non-Ethics-related topics. It's not that I'm exceptionally outstanding in this aspect. It's not that at all. I guess it's slightly influenced by my perpetual confusion about the complexities of human relationships and behaviour.. (you'd know if you've been fervently following this dead space!)

So i was thinking, what are relationships based on..?

It sometimes feel like my relationship with some people can be depicted simply as: My time and money and convenience (and candy) in exchange for your (temporary) companionship. Plus you readily take off at the first sight of 'greener' pastures. To think that I always greet you with such enthusiasm as compared to your disinterested response. It may appear that I'm on the losing end from every possibly conceivable angle.

Then again, I recently listened to According to You - Orianthi with much introspection and I realise all the negative adjectives apply to me:

Stupid, useless, can't do anything right, difficult, hard to please, forever changing my mind, a mess in a dress, can't show up on time, boring, moody, can't be taken any place, suck at telling jokes, worst attention span, (everyone else) has to put up with me.
